Design integration

Our core competencies are System on Chip (SoC), FPGA and ASIC designs. With many years of sound expertise to rely on, we can integrate appropriate functions quickly and cost-efficiently.

Project management

Thanks to our many years of experience in the development of microelectronics, we can offer project management services for some or all aspects of projects. This entails support for in-house development or coordinating the cooperation with external partners. We are not limited here to the development of electronics; we will also happily organise all of the mechanical aspects, such as the assembly of your device.

Software and firmware

One of our strengths is in providing you with a complete system, in which plug and play does what it promises. With this in mind, we will develop the required drivers and firmware for these systems.

We have already successfully carried out the following developments:

For Linux-based developments

  • uboot bootloader adaptations (for customised SoC hardware, for instance)
  • Kernel board supply packages

  • Porting an open source RTOS (e.g. freeRTOS, RTEMS) onto a target platform
  • Firmware development, either as a standalone solution or with an RTOS

Hardware design

You can entrust us with the development of your entire product, from the concept through to authorisation.
However, we will also happily develop a sub-product for you and assist you in any of the development phases.

Our experience ranges from products which are simple and cost-effective through to complex models with a high degree of reliability, such as those required in medical apparatus or in aerospace applications.

GUI / HMI (Graphical User Interface / Human Machine Interface)

We would be pleased to prepare a concept according to your specifications for the HMI for your product and develop an easy-to-operate user interface. Whether this be via HTML directly on an embedded Linux system of the developed hardware or via QT on the existing operating system for the display unit.

EMC (electromagnetic compatibility)

EMC factors are taken into consideration in every phase of development, particularly during the concept phase. As a result, we can carry out your project within the time provided and, at the same time, lower the cost of obtaining EMC authorisation. Thanks to our many years of close cooperation with EMC companies, we could also take on the certification process for you.

Certified cleanroom work

Our ISO class 7 certified cleanroom went into operation in January 2015. In particular, we can now perform configuration and soldering procedures there, as well as testing and measuring processes.

System engineering

As the environment of microelectronics becomes ever more complex, it is important to keep an eye on the overall system when configuring the design. In many cases, problems can be identified and prevented in advance by conducting a detailed system analysis. The complexity can also be made more manageable by ensuring that the function blocks and their interfaces are structured clearly. This applies between different electronic components just as much as it does between mechanical and electronic components.

Approval tests

We will be happy to find out which authorisation tests you have to conduct for your product. We will support and assist you in the certification of your product, advise you about any adaptations that may be necessary and, if required, also carry them out for you.
